i love that quote! its like my favouritest quote ever. another reason why i watch one tree hill i put that up half a year ago and i decided i like it more now! so there it is, up there again (:
hmm. so a buncha stuff coming up, finals, birthdays, people coming home, christmas, heck even new years near and vones birthday. woooo, the year flew by and i din even see it coming! so the ends near, or rather here! and the yearend signifies the end of somethings(i guess they call it the end for a reason). endings oh endings, like the school term(haha yay! ahhh, but like 5more to go?!), ruis and jez's year of being eighteen yo kiddy and....... a buncha other things :/
but its also the beginning of other things; forgive the cliche, but the new chapter of our lives(provided nothing drags us back to the dark place we've been running from). '07! friggin 7 years since the arrival of the millenium, year 2000. the year when everyone thought that it was the end of the world -.- and that all computers would malfunction and that the world would sink into some retarded depression and we'd all just die. well, all i can say is that my laptops working just fine and the 'darkangel' eras not here yet and we're not 6feet under. haha o! and also, new resolutions(which noone seem to keep) and then we look back on the year, think of all the what ifs.. and realise '06 has come back to bite us on the ass, for what have we acheived so far?
but i sposed if we think about it, there'd be a buncha things you wish that you'd done and yeah sure, there'd be stuff you'd wanna change too. but you can't. like really can't. the kinda can't where nothing you do in the future can fix. so we learn from it. we all do. even if you don't realise it. and that's the whole point.
so do not look into the past and recount your what ifs, for it has gone. let it go and think about the what had's and you'll see that the past year was more than you could ever ask for.
